Have you ever heard the term “like clockwork”? It recently came up in a class of mine. It has two meanings:
With perfectregularity and precision; faultless.
With regularity and precision
(the rough Japanese translation is 時計仕掛けのように)
In June of 2013, the American rock band Queens of the Stone Age released their 6th studio album with the title “…Like Clockwork” which, according the the band’s frontman Josh Homme the title was for the album that was “documenting the journey of moving forward, you know. It was a tough time and I thought, 'I can run away from this, or I can run into it.”
